Bio
Doing what makes you happy, gives meaning to your existance.
Every day was once tomorrow, cherish it until it comes again.
Here I am, Kay Jay From 110th street (KJcx). Born Marlon Tyson from the L.E.S. to the Boogie Down Bronx. New York will forever be dear to me. My music reflects all I've learned and experienced and a lot has happened since 1954.
I owe my journey to my (BAND OF BROTHERS)-"The Blueprints of Soul". Although short lived, the Gigs and mutual love and care we shared lives on. The Hal Jackson "Live from Coney Island" radio show stands out for me. Sharing the stage with "MANDRILL" will always be remembered. Playing a French horn in H.S. helped my ear training which lead me to my keyboards. After 30yrs of bus driving Music has found me again.
Performing is "past tense". But the love of family and resurgence of music as a messenger to the world has lead me back to my KEYS again. Feel free to check out songs and lyrics from past too present, as I do what I do. It's "Never to Late".
